When available please click the links below to register. ** 2012 USPCA Rule Book available to view in the FORMS/DOWNLOADS tab** FEBRUARY 2012 Narcotics refresher Feb 15th, 2012 On February 15th, 2012, the Lino Lakes Police Department & South Metro Canine will be hosting a narcotics refresher training to gear up for the late winter/spring narcotics trials. More details will be released as they are available, but the date is set. Trainers will be in attendance to help with issues and problem solving. MARCH 2012 2012 Region 18 Detector Certification Trial March 18, 2012 Hosted by the St. Croix County Sheriff’s Office K9 Click here for details and registration information. Region 18 Spring Membership Meeting - The Spring membership meeting will be held on March 18, 2012, following the Detector Trial. SKIDDS/CATS Anoka CO Sheriffs Department March 8-10th 2012 For those that don't understand K9's or have a misconception as to how beneficial K9's can be during a high risk Patrol and SWAT deployment, SKIDDS / CATS is the answer. The goal of this 3 day course is to educate and train Patrol Officers, SWAT operators and K9 handler on the deployment of a police dog in a high risk / tactical operation. Participate in numerous K9 deployment scenarios. Learn the latest K9 tactical tracking, searching, deployment and arrest techniques from the K9 and SWAT instructors of SKIDDS. Determine how your police dog functions and how they can be used to better assist you and your department. Train as a team under realistic conditions. Click here for info and registration. Desert Snow Training Program March 12-16th 2012 And the National Criminal Enforcement Association (NCEA), in conjunction with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, will be sponsoring a mega interdiction conference in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino from March 12-16, 2012.
